4" Grub (pack of 9)

Grubs are effective for bass fishing because their curly tail creates an irresistible rhythmic flutter and vibration that imitates a baitfish or crayfish, attracting bass with minimal effort. This action works year-round, in any season, and can be rigged in various ways to match different forage, making grubs a versatile and dependable lure for triggering bites when other lures fail.

The best rigging methods for a grub are the jig head rig for open water and the Texas rig for weedy cover, with a drop shot rig for presenting the grub at a specific depth. For jig head rigging, thread the grub straight onto the hook, ensuring the hook point is not too close to the tail to preserve action. The Texas rig involves inserting a wide-gap hook through the grub, bringing the hook out, and then burying the point back into the plastic for weedless presentation.
